I’m not a small-talker. I typically won’t ask you how your day was because to be brutally honest, I do not give a single shit about your day. I will spare you the common questions that people resort to when they’re feeling the slightest tinge of awkwardness because while you probably feel awkward because your mouth isn’t open and shooting 50 words per second, I feel perfectly fine holding my silence. You just will never catch me asking what you did this weekend purely out of curiosity. 

And this is probably why people think I’m a wallflower or am anti-social. That’s not the case at all. When I have something to actually say, I won’t even hesitate, but if I’m going to be babbling on about small talk, I’ll pass.
